Weekend room options
Great Canadian Toronto and Pickering are both published as 24/7. Mohawk publishes Thursday–Sunday noon to 4 AM, while Brantford publishes 10 AM–4 AM Friday through Sunday.
Expect the waitlist to matter
Weekend demand can make the live list more important than the nominal room size. Check current tables and waiting players before setting out.
Tournament players
Pickering currently advertises weekly poker tournaments. Tournament start times, buy-ins and registration rules are time-sensitive; use the venue schedule for the specific weekend.
Cash-game players
Choose your preferred stake, but keep a fallback. A player targeting $2/$5 may decide ahead of time whether $1/$3 is acceptable if the larger game has not started.

More options can also mean more demand
Weekend periods can bring more players and potentially more games, but that can also increase waitlists. A room that publishes broad stakes is not promising that every limit will be available when you arrive.
Check room hours before choosing direction
Toronto and Pickering publish 24/7 poker, while other southern Ontario rooms operate more restricted schedules. This makes weekday-versus-weekend timing an important part of choosing between east, west and Niagara options.
Build a fallback into the trip
If a specific game matters, identify a second room or acceptable alternative stake before leaving. The Game Finder and Room Comparison Tool can narrow the options, while the venue’s own live list remains the final check for what is actually running.
