Online Poker Site Reviews - Where To Play
The following sites all qualify as reliable and secure places to play online poker:
PartyPoker - http://www.partypoker.com This site has a standard rake and a large variety of rooms including limit and no-limit. Of course Texas Hold 'Em is the most popular, but you can also play Omaha and 7 card stud and some others poker variations on this site. Player skills levels range from terrible to expert. As a general guideline, remember that as the amounts increase, so does the skill level. One helpful feature on PartyPoker is the option to make player notes. This allows you to right click and view any notes you have written on a players betting habits or playing style that you have previously made. PokerStars - http://www.pokerstars.com This site is basically identical to PartyPoker but one thing to know is that PokerStars is somewhat known for dealing out more "rigged" (it is a rumour/conspiracy theory, not proven) hands. Bad beats seem more frequent, but so do outrageous hands like four of a kind or straight flushes. Another great feature both of these sites have is a statistics section where you can review your play history data. PokerStars also features hand histories so you can see the specific decision you made in a past hand. © 2005 Varoujan Arman. All rights reserved.
